I have a Panasonic FX-65 - the first generation of the glowing front
display. Not quite as bright as the current range...

P.S. It's for sale...

I have a Panasonic KEH-P8600R, and 12CD changer. I had it fitted 18 monthes ago and it sounds great even with the origonal speakers fitted in the Impreza. cost £600.00 fitted. Was going to fit a bass box but it's loud enough with out it, "I like to hear the sound of the engine more." You can change the backlight colour from blue to red (manual say's green to red)to suit your interior, but never used the orange??

I have a FX45 model with 6 disc changer in my Mondeo(company car). Quality of sound much better than the std ford system.
The only problem I find with the blue screen is that at night when driving in areas without street lights the screen is too bright even when dimmed, otherwise good for the money.

I was in getting the CD player taken out of my wife's car last week, and the guy was moaning that Panasonic were just about to replace their entire range with this years models.

Turns out they now have to sell all of last years stock at knockdown prices, so their might be some good bargains to be had. The shop owner admitted there was really only cosmetic differences between last years and this years models.

My friend has a Panasonic head unit as part of a 1.2k set-up in his Impreza, and it sounds great.
