Hi Kev,

If you look at my website, I have the accessories brochure scanned - the hifi details you request are there. Point your browser at www.arnesta.freeserve.co.uk.
However, my advice is don't bother - get any aftermarket setup instead for not much more money. You'll appreciate it in the end.

If you look on my website under the section for my car, and follow the link for hifi, you'll see what I've got - nothing special, but loads better than the standard junk. Everything you see cost me a total of £600 fitted. Make your own mind up.

Kev, don't make your own mind up ! I'm telling you ! Bin the original stuff.

Before I went crazy on a system I started out with an Alpine 1505 digital head unit (4x55W, BBE, graphic eq etc) and the 6 disc changer. These 2 alone with the std speakers were superb.

I picked up these as a pair for £472.

You can see them at

mmmmmmmm gonna have to give this some thought, i presumed the original sound system would make an ideal platform to put an autochanger onto, as the system will play the kids tellitubbies, postman pat and the like most of the week it seems a tad wastefull to spend bags on a decent setup just for the weekend blast down the odd lane. just looked in a mag and a standard cd player ( not autochanger though ) a good brand ie panasonic/kenwood is gonna cost me around the £200, which aint a bad deal i s'pose.......gonna give it a thought..thanx for the advice.......

Kev,

If it's CD changer you're after, I think people normally sell them for between £100-150 second hand here. You just need to find someone who has gutted their original system, and have a CD changer spare.

I can only think of one at the moment.....

Mail me with an offer as I have one from my car!! It's a Phillips from a MY97 car, I only had it in the car for a day, before putting all my old stereo in!

I too have a boot loader for sale.

Pioneer CDX P2000, (£425.00 When new) will accept £175.00.

12 disc with command cable (the one which runs from the head unit to the autochanger), took it out of my BMW after the head unit was stolen and consequently upgraded to Alpine kit all round.

The Autochanger had only been fitted for approx 6 weeks before it was removed again. Perfect condition. E: Mail me direct if you're interested.

Mike

Hi!

We meet at carbrook Hall in Sheffield.

The postcode is S9 2FJ if you want to do an autoroute to it.

We meet on the first Monday of the month from about 7.30 onwards, but as you can see, we're organising something for mid month also.

Feel free to come along!
