Hi

I have a 2001 bugeye and thought the same thing, always played about with i.c.e in my other cars so thought it was time to upgrade the scooby.

I replaced the headunit and rear speakers first as they look the cheapest speakers i have ever seen. The fronts are just as bad but sounded a lot better running just off the new headunit.

I have now fitted new front speakers infinity kappa's and run everything off an amplifier

Hi

I used the corsa c ones off ebay for about £10. They also angle the speaker up a bit.
The hardest bit for me was finding somewhere to mount the crossover as they are quite big depends what model you get i suppose??

hope that helps

Cool. Have you a link to where you bought them?
Also, do they line up perfectly? ie no need to drill new holes?
