trying to get some quotes on a wrx wagon import 95/96, and so far getting silly quotes like £2.8k + :wonder: im 22 with 3 years NCB, no points or accidents. have owned a fair few performance cars in the past, pulsar gtir, evo 3, starlet gtt and more.. was paying £1800 on the evo 3 when i was 21.

adrian flux are my current insurer but called today and the lady said they dont touch anyone my age on a impreza or evo.. although they insured me on my gtir which is group 20 :wonder:

so can anyone recomend anywhere?

thanks - dan

Have you tried Gary at Keith Michaels at all.

Its like as soon as they see the word Impreza next to a young guy alarm bells start ringing.

go to a-plan

i was with them last year (age 22) and have just renewed this year with ALL mods declared and each year has been under £1000 (only just mind)

have a very good reputation aswell so your not going to get the 'tesco' treatment in the unfotunate event of an accident

Try Equity Red star........ they do a special Classic policy........once the car is over ten years, it can cut ya premium down by 60%.......

mine is a uk car which is group 17 (plus a few mods mind) and an import is group 20 i think

Greenlight also seem pretty good, you will need to speak to Tony@greenlight though - he has always been helpful in the past
