Hi Guys,

I am about to purchase a 2005 sti with prodrive pack on it. I have only lived in the UK since April and therefore dont have any noclaims or driving history here.

I am from Australia am 26yo and have had my license for over 9 years, have owned 500bhp+ turbo cars and am having a nightmare getting any decent qoutes. The best I had was from pace ward which was £2900

Every other qoute so far has been for over....£6000!!! I'm hoping Moley might be able to do better but I haven't been able to get through to him for over 2 weeks now (the guy seems to be ridiculously busy)

Has anyone else on this forum had a similar issue and if so could you give me some advice. I don't mind paying close to £2500 as I know I need to "earn my dues" but £3000-£6000 is absurd.

I appreciate any help you can give me.

Thanks.

Try using Car Insurance | Compare Cheap Car Insurance Quotes | Go Compare (http://www.gocompare.com) i don't know why U.K Insurance company's sting non british driver's so much. My cricket club recently had to sort some insurance for a Kiwi overseas player and the prices were redicoulous !!
