Hi there,

Fitted a boost gauge at the weekend but it got dark before finishing the power connections for the light.

Anyone suggest a light-switch activated connection that is EASY TO GET TOO?

I know there are loads; cigar lighter, fog lights etc etc but they appear to be hidden away under/behind dash. I will use these if there are no others but..........any ideas
?

Cool

Fitted a boost gauge last week, If the wireing in yours is the same as mine (Sti V) the switchable live feed into the fog light switch is the PURPLE wire.

Cool

Howdy

If the gauge is mechanical (ie just two wires for back illumination) then its easy.. just pick up from the side light circuit...

if its an electronic one.. it can be a little more difficult... Scoobs are negatively switched... (the switch is after the device). This means that if you connect a gauge to the device and to ground.. you bypass the switch.. and the meter carries all the current...turning the device on).. all depends on where you wire it though...

Just thought I would share that useless bit of info with ya... lol
