Hi all,

My 99 Impreza has developed a fault with the speedo, a warranty problem I know but they can't " do me " untill next century ! I'm looking for a quick fix if I can to tide me over the Xmas break...The speedo flicks backwards and forwards erraticly ( full scale ! ), it seems to be related to heat,if I sit in a jam for a few minutes and then pull away I'm doing 80 mph at 2000 rpm !!!

Can anyone describe where the sensor is so I can checkout the connections etc or is it terminal ?
