Oil pressure guage help needed

I just bought a 2000 impreza RS in the United States, and it does NOT have an oil pressure guage. The "Performance guage pack" also does NOT have an oil pressure guage. So I bought an electric oil pressure guage.

Where do I mount the sending unit on the engine block?

There are several plugs in the block, but the purpose of each is unclear. Please be specific in your location. The engine is a 2.5 liter fuel injected, NON-Turbo

I'm sorry I can't tell you where, but I do know that the sender plugs straight into a feed somewhere on the block.

There are others on the bbs who know, let's just hope they say.

Can you say what the performance guage pod consists of, where it fits, and how much it costs. We don't have one officially available here, and obtaining one from the US can be quite easy.

The performance guage pack available in the usa consists of a vacuum, voltage, and oil temp. It mounts on top of the dash in the little compartment above the vents in the center of the panel. The guages have white faces with black letters and an orange needle. How the sender for the temp is hooked up I have no idea. It costs the dealer $265 USA and is sold to the public for $385 i think.. Pretty steep, but it may include a new oil pan for the sending unit, i'm not sure. I think you would also need a housing to match the dash $65

the vacuum guage reads 0-76 Here in the states we read vacuum in inches but 76 is very high, it may be metric, i'm not sure

the volt meter reads 8-16 volts

the temp guage reads 50-150 degrees celcius
