Want to fit ally pedal extensions (cos they look good, std ones are fine for heel toe with practice).
Which ones are good / crap ?
I assume fitting kit (nuts and bolts) is included ?
Fitting is remove rubber pedal covers, drill holes in pedals, bolt on extensions ?
Probably going to go for red alloy sparco's
Also was some natty (but pointless) red alloy dust caps in Halfords other day, could'nt quite bring myself topart with £7 for them andybody know of others (cheaper)

Nobody has ever listened to me on this one, but the Sparco carbon ones are great. They are easier to fit than many of the metal ones, and give great feel, especially the brake pedal. I got about the same improvement again in pedal feel that I originally got when I upgraded my standard 4-pot brakes to Brembos -- not bad for 20 quid!
IMO they also look better than the metal jobbies. The clutch pedal does benefit from a covering of anti-slip tape, however, or you can have some "fun" if your feet are wet. The same probably applies to many types of metal extension, also.

I fitted the STI pedals which i bought from GGR - look the biz, but slippery when wet!

I've got red alloy sparco pedals on my 93 WRX. They were a bit of a bugger to fit but they are a good fit. Not too slippy when wet, which ain't a bad thing!!

Just a thought guys and galls but what do you think the insurance company would say if you had a shunt cos your foot slipped off a non standard pedal.
Have any of you ever informed them of the mod?
