I am about to remove my double size addzest, radio/cassette and CD player units, to replace them with a standard single din uk cd head unit, in the space that remaims i would like to put a turbo boost guage and clock, are there any off the shelf panels i can buy for this, and simply slot the guages in? or will i have to bodge it myself, if so any ideas. thanks

I would use a bit of MDF [thicker the better]painted/covered etc with the correct size holes made for the dials.

around 45 mins. we also had double units
took out ash tray & lighter, fitted 2 gauges
and boost control, covered in black vinyl to
match dash. its well easy! have a go, you'll
be suprised

Question

Where did you source the dash "lookalike" vinyl?

Look in the yellow pages for coach trimmers and you'll find a good supply of good quality vinyl. It doesn't have to match perfectly, but you'll find something that will do the job.

They'll probably sell it in metres
