Hi
Put an add in the wanted section and check out the private adds on here too. People upgrade their new seats all the time and good deals can be found. The later standard seats are a million miles better than yours (I had the same in my 96MY).

If you have money to burn you could check out Recaros - local dealers can supply and fit but you'll need to spend around 3 grand for decent ones.
Cobra are ok but you may have fun trying to get them fitted.
Corbeau do their GTS Recliner for about £500 per pair. They do subframes to suit Imprezas and the seats themselves are well snug - I nearly got these myself after recommendation.
Personally I'd go for some late standard seats as fitting is dead easy and they are very supportive. I got mine straight out of a P1 which were advertised on here.

Neil.

ps. Demon Tweeks in Wrexham (I think..) have all Recaro/Cobra/Corbeau seats on demo - which is nice !

Try Grade A Subaru breakers near Glossop (search the BBS for the number), I part-exed my MY98 seats for some P1 items a couple of weeks back.
