I've got a MY95 and replaced the originals with STi seats front and back, makes a world of difference and looks a hell of a lot better.

P1 seats look great as well, although slightly more costly.

I was gonna spend a lot on Recaros (none scooby) but decided STi ones were just as good and a lot cheaper. They were second hand but look like new.

Question

Where would you be able to buy STI or P1 seats from? Are they only available 2nd hand? Do any shops sell them even 2nd hand?

Like Selims I replaced the seats in my MY95. I found some MY00 seats for sale on the BBS. They are a great improvment over the early type and the fit stright in. I didn't want to have the hassle of fitting not Subaru seats.

Why not just get your interior leathered up.

If you need help on this "Nito" is the man. Just returned from a meet and I beleive he will be offering this service.

Nimbus,

Did you do anything with the material in the doors as I've still got the original material in mine and I don't really like it?

Can you replace it? Is it easy to do?
If so where's the best place to get replacements?

seats are good, Ive found the perfect position now and am more than happy. Had the cards done in silver velour to match aluminium gear knob, gear surround etc to try and brighten it up inside and am very pleased with the look now! Just want two guages ( boost and oil temp) to complete the job.

Selims,

The inserts on the MY95 is quite a bit different to the MY00. I had a look at them when I collected the seats and the material would not have fitted (wrong size) so I didn't have them in the end. I used to have leather seats in mine with leather in the door inserts. It's not too noticable a difference. A dealer in Derby said there was a complany who could re-trim the doors for me, but to be honest I don't think it's worth it just yet. Maybe when I have some more spare cash..

Hi nimbus, hope you are ok and using those seats to the full. I was quoted £60 +vat to re trim MY95 door cards in velour, not bad I thought. I would think any upholsterers would do this without any problems.

Hi mhawes,

Yes, the seats are still v good. But still spending time trying to get the ultimate driving position . How are you getting on with the leather ones? Did you get the re-trim done?

If you get this done let me know. I'd like to do this myself but have not found any guages/positions suitable yet..

BUDA.

Sorry for highjacking your thread...
