The lid on my centre storage bin (on top of dash) is flapping around on one side so need to remove trim section to see whats up.
Anyone know how it comes apart ?
Removed 2 screws inside bin gave it a tug and nothing hapens.
Remove those two screws, then with a flat screwdriver wrapped in a towel to save trim from scratches, prise the centre air vent surround at one side (between trim and surround). By pushing in at the side towards the vent you then pull outwards. The whole thing comes out with the lid. You will find that the screw housings of the lid are broken, in your case the one housing. Same thing happened to mine.
Going back to instructions again, if you tug at it with a bit more force it should come out without the screwdriver. Again by pushing in towards the centre and then pulling out. Kind of hard to word sorry m8. Let me know how you go.
How does it break? I'd say mine was broken when the dealers fitted my airco. In Holland if you order the car with airco it doesn't come from Japan fitted it's done after. I should get it done from warranty but haven't bothered just yet.
