Question What Gauges for MY02 STI

Hi All,

Well after a solid weekend on the net, I still can't decide on gauges for my STi. What has everyone else done for their MY02/03 STi's? Was going for White until I remembered they are a bluish black (I haven't picked it up yet not really a complete muppet!).

Was thinking Defi's but too expensive for what I need (unless I can get on the back of the GB). What about Defi D-Gauges? Anyone have idea on price and who stocks them? Tried the usual suspects on the web but not listed on their sites.

Was originally thinking Autometer Ultralites do these look odd or OK with dark dash? What about the 'carbon' Autometers? Will be fitting Boost, Oil temp & pressure in a centre pod. Any thoughts appreciated.

Defi's every time, check out the Group Buy section at the moment.

You won't be disappointed.

Cool

I know, they do look gorgeous. Not sure if I've missed the group buy or not. Anyone fitted anything else to a MY02 STi?

ignore that...pssst - if anyone should ask, Scoobys come with Defis, OK?

I'm having this dilema too,

Might go for the SPA dual Oil Temp / pressure jobby.

Only thing that's putting me off guages is how much fannying about the oil gauges might be to install to the engine.

Oil temp is easy as there is a blanking plug above the left bank, which is where i put my sender for th defis. I suppose you could run oil pressure from the same blank. ( not at the same time though)

I’m working on this too for a MY03 STI.

So far I’ve bought an ATI pod from Scooby Clinic (£122.50) which can take either 52 or 60mm gauges. Current favourite gauges are Smiths eclipse from demon tweeks as they can light up green and have red needles like the standard clocks. They also have black uncluttered faces so it won’t look too Star Ship Enterprise.

Boost gauge is only 1.5 bar though

I have an 01 WRX and have fitted the genuine Subaru/Lamco gauges to mine for that OEM look
Picture isn't the best but you get the idea and the same gauges will fit the STi too

Good luck
