Hey all

Can anyone tell me whether or not a '95 Japn import is likely to have an airbag? Judging by the steering wheel I wouln't have thought so, but a previous post about changing the wheel mentioned a '95 car, so I just need to confirm this.
Or perhaps there is some easy way to find out myself?

I doubt that any up to 1998 had one, I could be wrong though. I have a 1994 model and have no airbag. There is talk/rumour that mosy imports have no airbag, but I will see if others confirm or deny this.

I tell yah, I'll be pretty surprised if an entire airbag manages to shoot itself out of the small Nardi plastic thing in the middle of my steering wheel!

My 1996 P plate my97 (facelift) has a drivers side airbag.

I've got a 95WRX with Nardi wheel on it. The Nardi wheel is definately not an airbag equipped wheel and I doubt there has ever been an airbag wheel in the car.

Perhaps the 95 car that you heard about was a UK car!

Sounds good, must have been something like that. There must be more of a difference between the Jap and UK cars than I originally thought.
