Default Auto windows all round....

Like the drivers window, is it possible to fit (at least just to the drivers door) automatic up/down switches to the rest of the windows? (MY00)

Is it just a matter of sourcing the switches?

Think i might have a look at the switches/wiring tomorrow to see if there are the same number of wires to the auto switch compared to the normal ones.

Shock horror.............if it's a classic, the switches are actually Nissan items....................at least those on my '98 UK car are!

The driver side switch is all one module and costs mucho bucks!! So I thought that it wasn't worth getting one to hack about
I looked at this when I first got my scoob, also looked at auto closing windows and sunroof with the alarm but that's as far as I got.......looking!

Yep,

me too! handy mod, but could never figure out if it was just the switch. I wondered what would happen if I swapped my pasenger's side wires to the driver's switch & give it a try, but can't get the door panel off!

u don't need to take the whole panel off,if u take out the panel with the window switches on you should be able to swap the wires around, you have to push the window switch plastic thingy towards the front of the car and try and lift the back of it up,there is a small clip sticking out of the back of it and once thats clear it'll just lift out.

Had a look when i replaced my speaks and it seems that the switches are built into one big box, ie they dont seem to be seperate items underneath which is a little strange. I didnt get a chance to take it all apart but ill save that for this weekend and take an even closer looks
