removing a pillar trim

hi folks,just wondered how i remove the a pillar trim off MY98 sport,i need to replace the ariel as some tw** has demolished it.
also does the ariel cable run all the way back to the stereo in one piece or does the cable from the ariel plug into another cable fed through the dash.
hope that makes sense.
any advice gratefully received thanks
