Hi all,

Well I finally decided to change my steering wheel on my 05 STI for a 330mm Sparco suede wheel. Looking at previous posts on the subject the major problem would be the Airbag warning light which needs a 3 ohm resistor to fool the ecu into thinking it is still connected. After some time I managed to source a resistor and have tried it and hey presto the light goes out after 6 seconds. Just need to sort the horn push out now

I would like to do this, but not sure how the insurance companies would accept it?

Im also after doing this where can i pick up resistor from (halfords or is is specific part to subaru wheel),also any special way of removing the wheel so the airbag dont go off,any help much appreciated.
