Default CLUSTER SWAP...........

Took the gauges out of MY03STI and swapped them over for a set out of a hawk-eye.....
already took the standard 1`s apart and had them red but loved the sweep from the hawk`s gauges.

And the quick vid 2 finish.......

tried the led`s at the start and yes they were crap...light was 2 directional.
i stripped the clocks and filed the green imprinting off the back of them,
then used stage gel which is used by photographers and the guys lighting up stages different colours..(stage gel)...

...............hope this helps...............

How did you get your new cluster to read the same mileage as your old one?

Awesome mate !!! They look amazing !!! Were they a straight swap ? I've just put the cluster from a WR1 into my WRX. So i've gained a shift light. Are the connectors on a Hawkeye the same as a WRX ??? Got to say that has to be one of the best mods I have seen on a Scooby !

cheers m8.....not quite a straight swap, but not brain frying either..connectors need reversed on 2 plugs and 1 needs the slide shaved. a few pins on the gauges need cut and a quick mod on the wiring loom...
