Hawkeye - Dipped Headlight Level Too High - Why?
When I drive at night my Hawkeye headlights look too high, and I am frequently getting cars coming towards me flashing their lights (and cars I am following putting their fogs on..). I know they are auto adjust but is there any manual adjustment to lower the beam. From what I understand there is a level sensor but if this fails, the headlights should fail in their lowest position. The car passed its MOT a few months back without any problem but maybe its a recent issue.
Thanks in advance for any advice,
Cheers,
Ian.

problem is adjust them down then in middle of the road at 60mph they adjust back to standard which is 1ft now in front of the car they are a hazard, you need to check the sensors on the axle as water has probably got in, stealers quote 250+ vat for each sensor you will get from breakers
