Any sparks experts out there to confirm if I can tell what one small ignition lead positive wire is running at where the clock mount used to be as I'm running gauge lights and couple LEDs etc and wonder if she'll burn out. Can I tell by voltage drop when all the lights are on? I can read voltage direct from battery and have tester for the wire, when you would say its to big of a drop and most likely overloading the wire?

Hmm, I was thinking it could be a problem because the lights wiring I was using for the gauges has stopped working and I cant find a fuse for it. Its the one that lights the oe clock in the dash when side lights put on. She's now running gauge lights and few other bits and bobs from ignition live wire.

Cheers, doubt those lights use anywhere near 11 amps.

Did you use Scotchlok type connectors? They are notorious for giving poor connections.
