Default Check engine problem

Hi there.
I have a Impreza GT turbo 1998
I have a weird problem. When i have driven my car for a while the check engine light comes on and stays on for a while a then goes out again. when the light is on the car drives fine without any problems. The car has the PPP pack, and the BOV has been removed. but the light comes on with or without the BOV. i have tryed to read the fault codes but it doesend show any. Instead of black connectors ja have white ones . my english aint the best but hope you can understand.

Thanks

Try a new MAF first as one sensor going wrong can lead to other error codes being brought up.
