Hi oilman, I have a 04 blobeye sti running 420/400 with lots of mods all aps ie turbo, injectors, air filter, fuelling, bov, full system ect. Always put 15/50 Fuchs Titan race pro r in recommend by RCM.28k on clock and only doing 2/3k a year. Wat other oils would you recommend or would you stick to this. Ps the car has been modded for 6 years now and it's never missed a beat.

    Hi

You'll be fine mixing the two. It's such a small amount, it won't affect the majority of the oil.

    Cheers

    Hello. I bought 4l. of Motul 300V Power 5W-40.
I change the oil every 5000 and the oil and filter every 10,000.
I am about to do the oil only and there will be a half a l. of 5W-30 fully synth (non ester base) in the filter/system.
Question is, is it OK to mix these two oils in this manner, or should I change the filter too?
If I do, I will be out of sync with the filter changes as per service manual. As the car has nearly 65k on the clock, I am not overly bothered by this aspect.
BTW, my car is MY06 STI with PPP.
