Default My first Impreza - Red WRX

Well here she is, always wanted a quicker car and now were living closer to family I thought why not. So I sold my Touran and bought this. 2004 WRX, big cone filter, 3" cat back with big tip and a remap. I've got lots of plans for her including:
STi/Decat uppipe
STi Top mount and intercooler spray
Prodrive backbox and 2.5" centre pipe
Cobb style heat shield

STi spoiler
Front splitter
Rear diffuser
Red mud flaps
STi scoop
Carbon mirror caps
White alloys (not sure which yet)

Thinks that's all of my list .... for now

Got her home and gave her, her first wash. Wash, de-bug, de-tar, rinse, clay and another wash.

Let me know what you think.

Cheers mate, yeah I do to. It looks really good in the pics but is covered in swirls. Needs a damn good machine polish.

Yeah 1st one mate, cheers. Id say about 260/270bhp mate, bought it from a dealer (who claimed 300bhp, no chance lol). He's chasing the previous owner for the print out and full spec.

The Trooper 1815 - Ive sent you a PM mate ;-)

JayJay100 - Havent polished or waxed it yet mate. This is what I did.
- Rinsed
- washed with lambswool mitt and Auto Glym bodywork shampoo
- Tardis and Auto Glym insect remover
- Rinsed
- Meguiars clay kit
- Then washed again with lambs wool mitt and auto glym bodywork shampoo
- Dried with microfibre towel

Angel1368 - The exhaust on it at the minute is a japspeed (i think) my plans are to get a prodrive for it though.

Everyone else, thank you for the positive feedback. I love the fact that you dont see many red ones about.

Nice example.
Excuse the mushy sentimentality but it makes me smile seeing threads like this. Where someone buys their first Scooby and is over the moon with it. Spending hours cleaning it and £s in mods. Like I did when I first bought mine.

The swirls on the paintwork were really annoying me as from 6ft away the paintwork looked good but any closer and there were just swirls everywhere. So I took her to Shane at High Definition Detail in Barnsley. After a good 10hrs of work she looked like this;
