prodrive performance pack to save the engine from the terrible factory map that seems to kill the 2.5 off lol
LOL, I know a little bit about that one, new engine holding up on new map ok for the moment but keeping it at around 350bhp to be on the safe side.
Looking forward to a 2008/09 Hatch STI meet, would love to see what we have all been up to with our cars and what we plan to do to them when we have the cash
Ian Litchfield has said we can meet up at his place if we want, but that could prove to be expensive as he has loads of lovely stuff on sale for the hatch STI
Just done the 1000 miles now and averagieng 43 mpg (diesel)
engine stating to loosen up probably after my Misses was following Rob back from the NBO at silly speeds
Cant believe how much easier to live with then my old classic MY00 which sits in the Garage all polished up and has been out only twice in 3 weeks now

Runs and gets diary..........................
OK how about early August? Gives one more payday to set aside some cash/revive the credit card/whatever and is just before my trackday at Bedford
We could aim for a Saturday - would that work for you guys?

Maybe a Saturday in September would be better? I bet most of us are away some time in Aug....

When are you going to spill the specs on yours??? I'm guessing the 180 on the back end has some significance!
Have spoken to Iain (very nice chap) and he is happy for us to clutter up his place for a day.
I suggest we go for Sat 5th September. Does that work for you guys?
If you are looking to get some choice upgrades fitted, picked up or booked in for a fitting later, can you let me know? Reason being that Iain is happy to talk about a discount once he knows what he is looking at.
On that note if you are looking to get that wayward backend sorted out on the day, then shout now as it's a two-three hour job (meaning only a few cars can be worked on, on the actual day). IF you book on the day for a fitting later, the discount will still apply.
So you get to peer at other peoples cars and SAVE cash all at the same time
Can you note down what bits you'd like and if you want them fitted?

Cool. 5th it is. Any of you guys looking to get parts fitted? If so please add em to the list above. I'm going for the Handling pack -
Up-rated rear anti roll bar
Revised steering feel
4 Wheel laser alignment with fast road settings
Revised sub frame and chassis bush kit
Rear anti roll bar mount supports
Anti lift and Caster kit
Labour to install
And I cannot wait to have a car I can trust through the twisty bits when (ahem) pushing on!

Do you know roughly how much that will cost you all in?
Its only a catback but makes a huge difference to how the car pulls - my type UK doesn't feel asthmatic in the mid-range anymore - and it sounds like a real scooby now
