Default JDM Bugeye, from start to finish.

This is my 16th Scoob, and ive finally decided to grow up, stop wasting money, and keep the bloody things for myself. This was offered to me for a decent price so like I say, its mine now and im keeping and spending money on it for me.

Heres a few pics of how it has looked, and what I have done so far, this will be a rolling thread with pics added as I do things to it, here goes

FEW OF HOW IT HAS LOOKED IN THE PAST

THE DAY I PICKED IT UP

FIRST THINGS FIRST, REMOVED THE MORETTE REAR SKIRT

LOOKS BETTER ME THINKS

NEXT WAS THE WHEELS, SOLD THE PFF7S AND BOUGHT XXR 527 FROM REVALUTION

CAR NEEDS DROPPING AND WILL BE DONE THIS WEEKEND, GOT A SET OF COILOVERS COMING FROM BELGUIM

NEXT, DVD SATNAV INSTALL

DECIDED TO CHANGE THE JDM INTERIOR FOR A NEWER AIRBAG BLACK ONE

NEXT WAS THE EXHAUST, NICE BOX BUT BIT TO QUIET FOR MY LIKING, FROM THIS

TO THIS

REAR LIGHTS FROM THIS

TO THIS

WILL POST MORE AS IT CHANGES, PLANS A LOWER IT, CARBON INTERIOR BITS, MAYBE CARBON BOOT AND BONNET, AND THEN SEE WHERE WE GO FROM THERE, DEFO SOME SORT OF REMOVABLE STEERING WHEEL AND A RALLY SEAT

KEEP WATCHING FOLKS

Well after nearly four hours of freezing my nipples off, and the use of a couple of Jacks, big spanners and the most patient mechanic I know, we finally got them on, they are a bit low at the back and will need adjusting upward rather than downwards, but for now they will do. Back to the garage tomorrow for some raisng and lowering here and there but it takes time to get these things right.

Ill put some pics up in the morning of how it went and how low it looks now

I'm loving it by the way, suits me down to the ground! I was a little concerned that it was a bit muted but it opens up when you put your foot down.

Car is looking good by the way!

Very nice and good choice on the mods. Although i'm not a fan of aftermarket bodykits in the main, i would have liked to see how the rear would have looked with the rear bumper skirt you had before still on when lowered, i think it may have suited the spoilerless and low look quite well. You still got it to try or sold on?

Well then guys and dolls, apart from the Defi gauges (copies) an toiling with the idea of getting the scoop carbon wrapped its finished. decided to ditch the airbag interior and went for genuine V7 STI front and rear, still waiting on door cards bt you get the idea, steering wheel works well and is a little smaller than the standard Momo one, only by a small difference though, but noticeable. Carbon fibre rear spoiler was fitted today with the help of Carmoster, Cheers Rich. Wasnt to sure about it at first but no its on and having looked at the NASIOC site, im glad i chose to fit it. So heres some pics

Hope you like and please leave comments positive or negative, but please................CONTRUCTIVE
