"One of the things I particularly enjoy about the job is dealing with enthusiastic owners. Over the years I've met many, many people and see the same people coming back with new cars. Some have had pretty much every model that we've done over the years.

The only thing that I don't like is the fact that I haven't got anywhere near as much time to talk to everyone as I used to have. Dealer visits to meet customers for demo drives was a regular part of my role in the early years but demonstrating the capabilities of 300+bhp cars on the road isn't possible so this is now done in the relative safety of test tracks such as our own at Prodrive Warwick."
