Yah, no more dyno for OBD2 cars!

Anyway, I'm running into some problems trying to get a java based SSM/OBD2/data logger software working on my Linbook. I've recompiled this RXTX Java library for my PPC based Linux machine, however it for whatever reason can't find the library!!!
Code:
java -jar JDash.jar
JDash / v0.9.19 01-14-2008
Protected under LGPL. Copyright (C) 2007 Shane Powell
Monitor: net.sourceforge.JDash.ecu.comm.SSMOBD2Monitor
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: gnu/io/RXTXPort.Initialize()V
        at gnu.io.RXTXPort.<clinit>(RXTXPort.java:55)
        at java.lang.J9VMInternals.initializeImpl(Native Method)
        at java.lang.J9VMInternals.initialize(J9VMInternals.java:198)

        at net.sourceforge.JDash.Startup.startup(Startup.java:181)
        at net.sourceforge.JDash.Startup.main(Startup.java:440)
Any ideas out there from the Java gurus? The Java jar file for the RXTXPort class file is set in my CLASSPATH but it can't find it for whatever reason.

I picked up some snap caps so that takes the pressure off the firing pin. I've also heard of people using rubber "O" rings where the hammer hits the striker, but that wouldn't really help with your Glock.

MLS.ca

Or better yet, talk to your friendly realtor (a.k.a my wife).

What are you looking for? Criteria - age of building, amenities, sq-footage, price, location, etc.

mls.ca - Welcome is THE place to look for existing homes for sale. Not sure what some good resources are for finding new developments.

I wanna see what's out there, and to see what I can afford.

I always thought Irene did commercial real estate for some reason.

Is 4.86% the correct rate for property tax in 2007 for Burnaby? Or did I read that wrong? I found it here.. Property Taxes

Btw, the 6" digital Vernier caliper isn't on sale nor in stock til April 29th for $6.99.. but the girl at the counter told me if I call next week and they get it in early, they'll honor that price. Did you still want one Chris?

Also, there is a Ridgid 14.4V Impact Driver good for ~116ft/lbs is on sale at Home Depot for $79.99. It should be good enough to break a few sets of lugs off before needing to recharge again.

Just take your net monthly salary and a third of that is what you should approximately spend on your mortgage. I'm thinking you can't get anything cheaper than 190K for a 1bdr. condo in Burnaby.

Actually, at the top of the chart it says "per $1000 of assesed value" so I guess it's $4.86/$1000 which would be .486% which seems about right.

Yeah, I think you'll usually be approved for around 3.5x your gross income, though that doesn't mean you should spend that much.

Reen is a commercial real estate agent (deals with office space, and sometimes retail space). She does however, have access to the realtor's version of the MLS site. Has a lot more info in there.

Never seen the shorter one - I have only seen the long one that is $24.99 so I don't know how the short one looks like

KFC - 1/3 of my net income goes to mortgage, and I might get approved for 3.5x my gross salary. I think by either calculation I'm not gonna get a anything other than apartments which means I have to move again because I don't like live in an apartment.

I think that would be one reason why I don't want to think about housing unless I absolutely have to. Might as well keep everything boxed unless I'm moving into a townhouse or house

Good call on the HD sale. I was just about to pick one up, but the rest of my Ridgid set is 18v. Doesn't look like it will take the larger batteries.

Do you have to buy a special lug adapter bit for it so you can use it to unscrew lug nuts?

I suspect your partner can best answer whether your screwing and nuts would benefit from an adapter bit.

Yeah, but it seems they don't make adapters to go down in size.

My coworker Tim (timbits on NASIOC) was saying the one in Burnaby got a whole pallet of them a couple of days ago. So if I can make it there I will buy it and give it a try.

Looking at other Ridgid stuff HD has for sale, the 18v drills have free battery replaceement? That's a pretty good deal. I guess I can't expect the same from a $79 impact gun.

I'm on the fence about it. On one hand I have no problems living at home. On the other hand, it was nice living on my own back in Calgary and I think I want to look for some change in my life.. including going back to working normal Mon-Fri instead of the oddball Wed-Sat. How do I contact Irene by e-mail?

KY - there's a coupon for Home Depot somewhere on redflagdeals.com. Might be worth looking at.

As for contacting Reen, try [reenyung]@[google's email domain name-dot-com]. She can help you look up info and stuff. The only residential real estate she's done was our house. And basically the seller's agent did most of the work - she just read over the real estate documentation.

Hey KY, when you get a chance, could you please post or email me [my username]@gmail your Scan Tech connect log? I just tried to grap a code from a MY02 WRX - couldn't connect as well. ecuExplorer was able to grap the historic code but that program can't reset the CEL.

Well it was my turn to **** up the car.

I thought next time my car would get ****ed it would be with firefighters ftl with the jaws of life vs. the 7-layer B-pillar. That would have been cool. Ironically the STi ftl against the cement pillar that I conveniently forgot about while backing into a stall, after being distracted by Karen when she yelled about a car coming down the lane which I had already seen 5 seconds before...

Conveniently it was snowing on my way home as I followed a GT2 on the highway going 60km/h, so I thought for sure that would be the end of my car, but I got home ok.
