I have someone's safeway garbage bag pack, pack of scour pads, and maybe some red cups as I seem to still have a lot. Let me know and I can drop it off.

cops are hanging out here on the exit from hwy 91 to go to queensborrow. stupid place to pull people over right after a bend. I was doing 110 around the corner and lucked out that all of them were looking down at their ticketbooks so I went passed at 60

There were 3 cop cars parked under the 91 overpass on Knight Street south bound, but I didn't see the guys anywhere, so I'm thinking the actual trap may be up on the 91. I also was doing around 110 when I noticed them but slowed down a bit.
I believe where KFC mentioned is a very well known place - I got caught there once doing 103, and they pull over another car in front of me at the same time. Stupid no less but it's like shooting fish in a barrel. As for the Knight St one, it's usually on 91 itself facing west right at the off ramp to Knight Street. Ask me how I would know....
So I'm stuck with no office phone (even though they claim they've rerouted outgoing calls via Atlanta, I still couldn't connect to the conference call number) and thanks to the fact that they are IP phones, they are screwing around with the network and killing my PC's network connection too. (Or maybe it's the fact that my PC is connected to the network through the phone.) Actually, I will see if the 2nd network jack in my cube is "live" so I can connect directly.
So yeah, while they've rerouted outgoing calls through Atlanta, 1-800 and 1-866 numbers don't work. I have another conference call in 10 minutes, but I'm not going to burn through a bunch of my personal cellphone minutes to attend because it's not *that* important.
In our company, we are told to never use 1-800/888/866 number to dial into our own conference bridge because it costs us more (in fact, explicitly told to always try local first, LD second, and Toll-free as last resort if it still doesn't work). Funny money alright but the owner of the bridge get charged.
It's not our own bridge (3rd party contractor organizing the call) so I didn't manage to track down the LD number from them right away, though they had me call them and conferenced me in through their phone system.
Speaking of which, the bridge they use has this extremely annoying "Joining Conference" message that's broadcast to everyone when someone joins the conference and they don't seem to be able to disable it.
I bought the Hoover steamvac at London Drugs. It does a pretty good job on the test patch I tried tonight. Enough grey water to say 'ew'... Hopefully it'll last like my Hoover wind tunnel. 3 or 4 years so far I think. Call me old if I get off on seeing these kind of results from a vacuum? lol

So today I brought out my camera to our church picnic shooting the kids and stuff. When I was getting ready to put it away, I tried to zoom it in, but it got jammed! My favourite walk-around lens KM24-105mm - well my ONLY walk-around lens too. . Wierd thing is that I was using it literally 2 minutes earlier. I was just walking Mackenzie back to our picnic area.
Sux. Now the three options I have are to:
a) Fix it myself
b) Get it repaired
c) Grap a new lens
If I do grap a new lens, I'd grap a 28-70 f2.8 lens. Shorter range, but a faster lens. It'll lighten my wallet by at least $300-$350 too.
So my car is due for service and I'm happy with the guys at Open Road Audi on Boundary, but I work near the Richmond Auto Mall. It would be much more convenient to get it serviced there, but I don't really trust Richmond dealerships. Anyone know someone that's had experience with them? I should probably just bite the bullet and deal with the hassel of getting it serviced at Open Road again.
