Where even the hard working brainiacs relax and take an extra semester or two to grad. heh
Never taken off a semester, but you're probably right - I don't load myself up every semester and with co-op, it took me 5 years, which didn't matter because I cut a year out of high school anyway. But seriously, other than course work, I did nothing else in university

Us Canadians want to buy British crap/feces/firehazards.
I am so SMART! S-M-R-T!
I crammed a 4-year program into 5-and-change! Gotta love SFU's liberal course selection where you can enjoy courses like:
Food and Nutrition
Music composition
Electroacoustic Music
Communications
English - poetry and prose
I'm a well rounded studnut. I think if I took 2 more courses in different departments, I could have come out with a liberal arts certificate!
Yeah, that's exactly what I'm talking about. No-one at SFU finishes their 4 year program in 4 years. We all relax our course load and take 5. I don't know about the rest of you, but first year I took 5 courses both semesters and it wasn't until my last semester that I made that mistake again.
IIRC I crammed 18 credits into my last semester. They ranged from CMPT and ECON, to PYSC and I don't remember what else.
My impression of UBC was that it's pretty strict. SFU is very lax. Then again UNBC probably is too, but perhaps people hurry because they want to get out of that hell hole. That and there's really nothing else to do there besides study. lol

Oh, I was referring to the people. Then again, I think I meant more "yuppy". UBC is definitely a yuppy school. Just look at JPW
