Ok, this is pretty unrelated but... sometimes I look out my window and I can see a rat make a break across a clearing in the park, ducking from one set of bushes to another. And these rats are HUGE.

I think 4AGZE Betty is completely doable with a 'reasonable' budget.
Maybe aim for something like 160-180 BHP... Combination pimp summer street car and autox/track/hillclimb.
