I was there along with many, many others. I'm sure another thread will pop up on the days events but it was certainly a fitting tribute to Colin, Johnny and all else involved. The convoy was huge I think somewhere between 150 - 200 cars running through the clyde valley to Lanark. I was very proud to be part of it and it was the first time I have been involved in such a large gathering of subaru cars.
Yeah was an emotional day to say the least.Check Colins website, Colin McRae MBE 1968 - 2007 ,and cast your eyes over the church guest list,no mention of Ari Vatanan who actually gave a very moving speech......it does say plus many many more at the end mind you.
R.I.P COLIN AND HIS LITTLE MAN , YOU WERE THE BESi saw him twice at the lombard rac rally in his famous L555 BAT R.I.P
look at the tribute on you tube (tribute ll ) with iron maiden song totally heart breaking to watch
If people are interest, I've built this SWRT Diorama thread which will be auctioned off and all the proceeds going to various charities, the main ones been of the two legends, Colin McRae family's choice and the Richard Burns Foundation.
