It's a common fact that badgers are able to run on their hind legs... like an emu, which when you think about how aggressive they your friend was lucky to escape serious injury!

I dont think it was a 6' badger A hind leg walking average sized badger fighting my friend would have been like him going toe to toe with a hairy dwarf, which considering this thread is about big things takes, us a little off topic (unless our thread starter collects giant badgers, that is )

In a surrealist way it might......

Also while on the subject of badgers.... it's a common fact that they can't look up, that's why they so easy to catch/cull (unless they're running like an Emu of course) as they can't see the farmer stood over them about to muller them with a shovel

I heard badgers only feed on mashed potato? Oh and people, but only people who look like my friend who was chased down the hill by a badger, yes.

Soft lad!

A swift size nine to the head and they soon run away!

I live in a rural area and badgers are a pain in the ****, two did over my neighbours puppy the other week, so neighbour took a shovel to their heads!

The old badgers "can't look up" being used for maximum effect!.... they're easy enough to deal with until they get a decent speed up... then it's like trying to stop a steam train!

Only when the lay on their back... which they tend not to do in daylight, I know a lot of facts about them... as I used to be a professional badger wrangler at one time

I gave it up when I damaged my knee in the late 80's while pretending to do a drunken Don Johnson (Miami Vice) roll over a friends car bonnet, trouble was as I wasn't wearing any socks and my shoe half slipped off causing me to stand up funny (wasn't that funny) and damage my knee ligament. Anyway after that I was unable to outrun the *******... so had to retire

Still don't wear socks though

Go and ask if you can show Phillipino girls your tandang. They may giggle a bit, slap you in the face, or give you some lovin (If they understand)!

Tandang is another Tagalog word for rooster. When I was dating a Filipino bint in NZ, we were having a naughty bit of banter via e-mail, and I used the "Tandang" word. Of course, she knew it meant "Rooster" in Tagalog, but she then asked if there was another word for "Rooster" to which she received a reply, "****!", from her workmates which made her blush a bit.
