Default Quick bit of ebay advice

Anyone help with this?

Had an item on ebay, sold to a buyer from slovakia.

Initially there was no contact from buyer, I emailed him saying I needed payment from him and he has just paid from a friends paypal account.

Does this affect anything if its not his paypal account or can I go ahead and send the item as normal??

Thanks in advance!

Barrie

sounds interesting.

I'd only ship to the paypal account's address.

I'm sure there's probabily a scam going on if you deliver to a "different" address to that which paypal is registered.

A "friends" or a hacked PayPal account possibly. I constantly get bids from Nigeria or the like which turn out to be bogus, real pain in the arse as I have to relist the items and now Ebay take 10% or something! Grrr.

I was shocked to find I'd been charged £26.99 for a phone that sold for £270 - what a rip!!

The buyer didn't pay either so I have to cough up the fees before I could relist - I relist the item and marked it as non payment - the daft bint made out that I had put in the winning bid then had it retracted so she would win and accuse me of rigging the auction. The relisted item ebay pulled because she tried to defend herself.

Its a bit of a joke when things go wrong. But there isn't any real competition.
