i think it was a good show, again! i enjoy each hour of it every week..personally i dont think its the end of top gear, if it was then i think they would make it known during the show. it has a far too big following every week just to end it without saying so
and ive just remembered that my next door neighbour has tickets for the show in november this year!

Interesting comments above, I did a lot of work for Peter Fincham (former controller of BBC1 prior to the "queen incident")
Even back then they were talking about how to end top gear as it was way beyond end of its life. They planned no big bang event, a simple natural end of series.. which tonight's show fits quite nicely
So there we have it chaps...

Top Gear is beautifully filmed - similar shot quality to evo magazine. I just wonder why it is not broadcast in HD. Imagine those Ozzie monsters in 5.1 with a woofer!
The AM piece was metaphorical - the end is nigh so start preparing for it. Start stockpiling great, great cars and prepare to watch Top Gear on Dave.

I hope that this isn't the end of TopGear, but lets face it, Clarkson, Hamster and May aren't getting any younger. I mean who could replace them!

Wonder if Clarkson asked Erik Bana to do a lap as well when they were making that film.

Based on recent televisual replacements I reckon: -
Cheryl Cole, Donna Air and Jaime Alguersuari
With Donna being the voice of experience
