Yes some people do as you say, and then of course we have the PC Plonkers who would doubtless complain about a statue to a great man saying that it would glorify war or some similar load of tripe.
It is very important that those two world wars and those brave people who fought in them to keep our freedom are never forgotten and also how easy it can be for a country to slip into such a threatening situation if the wrong sort of leaders are allowed to get away with it.
