Worth every penny, and compared to some friends running HPI stuff, the Traxxas cars/buggies/trucks spent more time running compared the the HPI cars/buggies/trucks that seemed to be continually breaking down.
If I was going to start again, I would possibly consider battery over nitro though.

You need to be prepared for a bit of messing about with nitro engines to get them running right and then just when you've got it running sweet, you pack it up. Next time you take it out, if the air temperature has changed by any real amount it can totally throw the tuning out and so the messing about with the mixture starts again.
It's something you get used to and if you like the tuning side then it's all part of it and can add to the enjoyment. Some get fed up with it though and just wish they could switch it on and run it.
Be prepared for the maintenance of it too. Cleaning it and oiling/greasing it after each use to maintain it to it's best. This will apply to both types of engine powered vehicles though really.
Be prepared for little things to break too. It's all part of it once you start using them properly, especially off road. Most parts are fairly cheap though and ebay has plenty.
Don't let it put you off though, just be prepared for what's involved.
Stop it lol. I really need to stick to £250ish lol. Like the look of that one too. Man, this is tricky! With that one i would need some off-road tyres too
looks like loads of fun, any clips or videos of them in acton?

Have a Tamiya Dark Impact Electric that got sidelines when we got the Schumacher Menace Nitro, good god its fast, apparently it can do 70 mph, rarely gets much through second gear, arse all squatted down, prow up accelerating like you would not beleive when running right, someties its just fast, other times it just seems to acheive ballistic speeds and it probably isnt even that fast these days !

ps: i used to have a GS Storm Pro, which was a strong hyper 7 rival, but think the larger scale truck type models are much more fun, and more akin to lifelike vehicles.
