i have not, but if your daughter insures the car and puts you down as a named driver (which should make her insurance cheaper) which means ya can then drive her car if and when ya need to use it, personlly i think that thease 1 day insurance companys will prob charge a lot as they need to make there money some how best of luck fella

just got a quote 20 quid for the day daughter has her driving test in jan thats why ive got too pick itup
When I killed my old Scoobs gearbox, I needed a runaround while it was being fixed. Got a Cinquecento (horrible little car) and insured it on a monthly basis through my then insurers on a seperate policy.
Would it work out cheaper to insure the car for a month (for things like emergencies) in your name rather then £20 for one day?

2) That you have insurable interest in the vehicle by the insurance companys defination. For example, if the car is going to be bought by your daughter and in her name, why would 'you' be in a financial loss if you were to crash it?
If both the above are ok than £20 seems about right.
You cant trust the MIB database, and neither should the Police. Take printed copies of the agreement (screen print if necessary) and youll be in a better position.
