Looks like the first real taste of Winter will be upon us next week. The way things are looking ATM could see 3-5 days of Snowfall and bitter cold temps Mostly Scotland and Norther England down to low levels.

It might sound a bit nuts but I am hoping for some proper snow again this year. I've got proper CX tyres for the bike now (full treaded jobbies) which I was able to use for a week last year and they were some of the best bike rides I've done.
I was pretty much the fastest thing on the roads and in a couple of cases the ONLY thing moving on the roads.
I've not bothered with Ice Spikers as I've concluded that if the roads need Ice tyres the motorised stuff is going to be way more dangerous than the road itself, and I'll stay in bed thankyouverymuch

Snow has been causing major inconvenience for last 2-3 winters, and just the mere thought of it is a "p!ssed-off" one. I have two important meetings up Anglesey way next week. After that, I will work and party locally, so it can snow as much as it wants here. Prior to that, do not even bother visiting here, snow.
Listen to what speye (or was it spew ) says - he knows waaaay more than the Met Office.
Now that wouldn't exactly be difficult would it ...???
And the forecast for sunny Cornwall for next week is .......... the same as this! Windy (ish) and showery (ish) and mild (ish) Good job the weather forecasts are accurate .....
