thinking of getting rid of my mondeo and getting an astra 1.9cdti. Mondeo I am just throwing money at it, just changed one hub / wheel bearing and the other side is now going Shame as I just bought some new alloys about a month ago.
On a positive note, the wife has just bought a 60 plate Renault megane coupe, very nice

what gets me about these titaniums is that they're not actually fully loaded any more, my missus had the older shape ghia and that had everything on it, now they offer loads as options.
I'm starting my motorbike lessons next month. hoping to get myself a 600 sport bike

All about self control though Justin, I think I'm mature enough and experienced enough to get a bike.

not too bad ta, bit bored of it on here, maybe I am getting old but it isn't as fun anymore.
Need a new job as well, never going to progress where I am so need to move. Ball ache travelling to leeds everyday as well.
Wife is getting a company car so I will prob get rid of the mondy and use the megane. Don't really want to put the mileage on it though whilst working in leeds

wifes megane not mine, I sold that for the mondy, was a lovely car but just over 30mpg wasn't great when it wasn't even that rapid.
Got an interview next Friday for a job a lot closer to home and a lot more money with progression prospects.

Justin with the off road stuff that you do you can surely hit some high speeds? i know i could hit way over 20 an maybe 30 on certain off road tracks, now if you came off you pedal bike its also not going to end well is it. On my road bike I hit over 40 once going down hill behind a big van, if that van would of broke hard then I was in the **** even though I was far behind it would of out broke me. What was I wearing to protect myself? Well apart from shorts an a t shirt all I had on was a helmet.
A motorbike can travel faster but like anything there is a time and a place, as long as I stay to that rule then i believe Im safer on a motorbike than I am a pushbike, Ill be wearing full kit all the time, even if i pop the shops, I can keep up with traffic, i couldn't do this on a pushbike and the amount of d1ckheads that try to kill you on the road is silly. I will never ever ride without my headlight on making me more visible, I will ride defensively as much as I can. I also aim to do adnvaced and place riding tuition. What did I do before I went on the road on my pushbike? f00kall .
Not having a go mate but 99% of accidents on a bike involve the rider being a pr1ck or the driver not looking properly. I have learnt from a good few years of pushbikes never ever to trust a car driver has seen you and even now during my lessons the tutors have noticed this and have commented on how good my observations are and awareness of hazards around me

Agree m8 hence why I ride off road. On the road everyone is trying to kill you. Speed wise anything upto 46 mph for me as factors like 28 psi in tyres slow you down
For rough stuff I wear full face and wear pads on any ride as ive fell off a few times and smashed my face and knees etc but been protected.
If I owned a road bike I would be breaking 50mph even 60 mph so its a good job I dont have one lol
