Another thing.. I cant seem to post pictures... is this also because Im a scooby newbie!!
I'm having the same problem and i became a regular after about 35 so your not far away, hace asked around about posting picture's not getting much joy was going to open an account with www.photobucket.com but not sure as of yet.
Well when I was reading through the FAQ "about Post Pictures".. its says there is an option at the bottom of the screen to browse your hard drive to attach a file...
But I cant see any icon....can anyone else Help.. CW42, Andy S your in the thousands... how do you post pics guys???
You cant post pictures on the snet members gallery unless your a snet pus member but you should be able to post pictures in the northern forum. Or atleast thats how i find it seems to work.
afaik, you can post pictures as soon as you join scoobynet, only problem is, scoobynet will not HOST them.
The smacs management are working tirelessly in the background to sort out this issue, even as I type. If you right click on this picture:
you can see where it's been HOSTED. This is my website with my ISP, which is F9. Look at the url address; http://fp.wilky42.f9.co.united kingdom/ is my main folder
/CAR/GRAPHICS/meets and other peoples cars is the subfolder
/STELVIO TOUR is the folder for my stelvio pictures
/susstenpass is finally the name of this particular picture.
Now look at this picture:
again, right click, and you'll see that this is HOSTED by the scoobysmacs.co.uk servers, the same place our website it at (thanks darren)
Very soon, I will be sending out an email with instructions on how to upload your pictures to this space. It will be password protected, and you'll all get a copy of the password, and also there will be a file size limit. It will be moderated too, so no readers wives
Watch your email boxes, in the meantime, if your desperate to show a picture on here, email it to me, and I'll pop it up on my space, and give you the code you need to post it up
