What a Knob! I was coming down the Cat and Fiddle this afternoon at my usual pace, in the snow (Yes there was about 6 inches on the ground, enough for the plough to come out) and all the bikers where doing about 10mph! Like little mobile road block they where However most of them where taking shelter in the Cat and fiddle.
It was fine when we went up there yesterday morning, it was snowing in the afternoon but it didn't seem enough to snow to settle can't believe there was 6 inches later on.

Came down about 4:30, and there was a layer on the floor, but a lot of it was being blown about. There was still snow up there this morning!

wow thats good for tesco as they were the only people who would insure me under 2K, in the end I got it down to £1200, then they wanted £1800 last year with no mods declaired , so I am with a company called Warrick davis with all mods declaired including indicators etc for £1400 protected with the G/F on the policy aswell.
at least now I dont have to worry about my insurance being void if I have a bump.

I pay £873 with privilege. Would've been £737 if I didn't protect the No Claims Discount. Used to be with Tesco on my Focus with all the mods declared for about the same.
The scoob is standard so i hate to see their reaction when I start working on it. Will probably have to look for a more specialist insurer I guess.
Edited to add: At the time I joined Privilege, they were also doing a special offer where I could pay monthly but interest free.
The offer ended about two days after when my mum tried to get her 328 on with them. However, give them their respect, they honoured the deal as both my dad and I had both signed up in the same week!!
