Well, what a rubbish summer it's been so far, although as I type this, the sun is shining for a change Still, the weather hasn't dampended our enthusiasm one bit. So, let's look to the future, what's in store for the SMACS in the 2nd half of the year?
First and foremost, we've got the family fun day up at Buxton Raceway on the 26th of August. All are welcome, and even now, we've got companies signing up to attend. All proceeds will be to charity, and your support would be very much appreciated
Then, I'm going to be organising a rolling road sometime at the beginning of September, so watch this space. This will be at the Dyno Demon facility on the Wirral
Next up, we've got the Blyton Trackday with the WYIOC, our friends from t'other side of pennines. That should prove to be a great day out, if the Indian summer we're hopefully going to get holds true
After that, it's off to Derbyshire, and the majestic Chatsworth House, for RALLY DAY! I think that day is going to be very popular, and we'll have a stand there for our members
For the final 3 months, we've nothing set in stone, so if you can come up with something to do in that time, let me know, and we'll get our heads together and organise it.
This is your club guys and gals, so if there's something you'd like the club to be involved in, let us know.
Oh, we're meeting at the Unicorn Pub at Dean Row just outside of Wilmslow, by the Shell petrol station, we'll be there around 7pm onwards. Lets hope the weather holds off

Starting the list earlier than usual this month?
Or is it just because I've been online everyday this week for a change?

I'm actually on my 3rd set, as I used them on my classic before I bought my 03. I'd had the first set on my 03 almost since I bought it, so they lasted well over a year, will have to double check when I bought them
Anyway, they're cracking blades, and once you've given you screen a good clean before fitting them, I find myself actually turning off my wipers on the motorway in heavy rain, as the silicone does its job and repels the water without the blades
