to buy my car. id like it to go to someone i know and im not having random people round my house trying to steel it cos its in the auto trader.

Would you be intersted in a 2002 Golf 1.6 16v?

Oh...w8...would it be more powerful than my Scoob....can't have that! LOL!

Really though....she would be interested....her job is A34 everyday....mostly offpeak times(7am or 9pm) so, she would really enjoy a Scoob.

She is 25 next week.....gonna check the insurance then!

Sorry if this came over wrong mate. I wasn't having a dig. It's just that what happened to him kinda cuts a bit close to the bone for us all.

Anyway, it's a shame your missus wasn't looking for a Scoob a couple of months ago when my Classic was on the market (click on my profile to see it ). All the sensible mods she'd need on the car already done and hers for £5500.

Or if she waits a couple of months she could have my current Impreza (also on my profile). Again with all the mods you could ever need for a reliable daily driver.

I used to live in Wilmslow so I know what a race track the A34 can be! She could leave 10 minutes late and still get there on time in my current car.

Just did some insurance hunting and it wasn't good....1.5k year!!!!

Can't afford that!!!

Have to wait and see if I can find any better next week!

ring moley wrx from off here (you will find him in the insurance area of this forum)

i get mine for just over £800 and i live in salford but i do have 9 yrs no claims

she has 0 years no claims......I think...gotta ring Directline......thats who she's with at the moment. Thanks for the tip...I will give that guy a ring when I get all her details correct...she's at work at the moment...will get her to ring Directline tomoz!
