Default Liverpool calling

Good evening ladies, gentlemen, boys, girls, a first post from me, having owned an import classic way back in 05 i then moved over to fantastic Alfa Romeos, now the urge for a turbo is at me again, i trust Subaru, maybe this is an ill founded thought, who knows............last one was perfect, i will want a classic again, i can classic insure it, i have seen a likely candidate not to far away for not that many pennies, now the first two issues i can do/sort easy enough, its the seized speedo drive i am unsure about.......

Front anti-roll bar links advised on MOT for slight play, Front tyres advised on MOT worn close to legal limit, Engine checklight on and rev limit at 4500 rpm due to speedo drive in gearbox seized, very easy fix I can supply instructions on how to rectify from a subaru forum, I can also demonstrate that this is the problem by resetting the ecu.

Can anyone help with this, is it an easy fix or should i walk away as there are plenty for sale

Walk away, it's a buyers market so I'm sure you'll find a better example for the same money as buying/repairing that one
