Brilliant cars, I had one back in 2006 after getting rid of my Evo 7 at the time. was a bit worried going from 4wd to fwd, but to be honest the Focus RS handled better then the evo and drove much better.

Whats your build number?? mine was 2930 would have another one maybe in the future, good ones still fetch quite a high price!!

An orange one of these shot past me today on the A331 near Aldershot. I was coming on from the slip road, man he must have been going 140+mph.

Good boy!

Do like the mk1 RS's, this one looks just that little bit special.

What did you think of the e46 M3?, I've thought about them many times....

Cheers for your nice comment
What do I think of the e46 m3.............an expensive dull car tbh.
Mpower is way overrated, I love the look of the 46m3 nice and aggressive that's why I bought one, first week of ownership was ok then just bored me, I was over the moon when I sold it lol never again though!!!
The rs is a world better(maybe apart frm the interior) so much quicker, more aggressive and sounds better, much cheaper on insurance and fuel too.

Yeah they do look very aggressive, same reason as you why I like them, but have heard others that have owned one say the same, that they a little boring at times.
May see what the current one is like one day.....RS4 ....food for thought lol.

True, but it wouldn't look right on the Porker and it saves me £25 a year keeping it on retention.

M3 is a bit boring really - it's definitely fast but it doesn't really give you much of a sensation of speed. The build quality is high and if you want a fast cruiser that gives an upmarket image then it's not a bad choice but the refinement takes away from the fun of driving it.

I've heard quite a few disappointed M3 owners, especially the V8 version.
I love the look but I can't be ar4ed to thrash the nuts off a daily driver to get anywhere.

Oh that's a shame, not very nice if you have to rev it like mad to get the best from it.
Funny actually, whilst at a car show Friday I saw the V8 M3, next to an RS4.....hard to decide what one I liked best.....maybe the Audi looked meaner, huge flared arches, massive exhausts, sounded more grumbley too.

Exactly this.
Tbh the m3 wasn't that fast, the rs and all my old scoobies where and are much quicker than the 3.
I never got that buzz from driving the m3, never again.
The buzz is defiantly back when I get in the Rs

I've had two of these. 0255 and 1447. Love them. Took mine to both silverstone and donnington for track days. Great fun cars! Love every minute apart from really don't like been hammered for hours on end. Cooked my breaks that much they turned gold! I'll probably have another one day.
