I was expecting the Veyron to be the size of a petrol station.

Seems it is quite a small car

They are the rulers of Dubai, the sheiks. I think they bought 1 Veyron at the NSPCC Full Stop auction for a silly amount.

What an ugly looking car. I honestly hate it. Much rather have a Zonda F or a Koenigsegg CCX

you are informed incorrectly!the one i took the video of is owned by the person we are working for at the moment and i assure you he isnt a footballer nor a property developer!although yes the post asking was it his second veyron the answer is yes!he bought two of them and sold one.the car in the flesh is in my opinion,a lot lot smaller than you expect of a supercar!although my ideas of supercars are based on being brought up on countachs and the like!have numerous pics and videos which i ll download onto photobucket for you all to see,i ll also download an in car acceleration vid! it is awesome.i ll ask him to attend a scoobymeet! worth a try?seems a lovely bloke anyway, usually the super rich are stuck up their own arse.
the car which is parked next to the veyron is his runabout,a 250000 RRoyce!
will be with the car again on thurs friday so will try to get more pics, vids any suggestions?

I guess you are not fully aware of how fast Andy's car is then?
His best 1/4 i believe is 9.1 at 160mph - Don't know the figures for the Veyron - but it'll do well to match that

or, if you read my comments on the veyron thread from a month or so back, 95 ron- Ray put 95 in 'one' of his Veyrons and they had to come and pick it up on a wagon and take it back to France. Worrying, that; 'million pound car' and 'france' really shouldn't be in the same sentence....

Veyron

0-62 = 2.5
0-124 = 7.4
0-155 = 11.4
0-186 = 18.2 ( Bugatti were quoting 14 seconds for this figure a couple of years ago, looks like they did'nt quite get there)

That's only 0.3 seconds quicker than a standard F1. An F1 LM would be as quick. Thought the Veryon was supposed to anihalate an F1?

Not great figures for standing 1/4 but given some more runway I bet it'll be pulling like a train way past 200mph though...
