Default New C3 Picasso ...

I have seen the advert on Tv ,with the black one and it looks pretty good .
The wife has a Berlingo ,black out windows and larger Alloys which she has had from new 6 years ago .

Umming and aaaarrring whether to get the new C3 Picasso in Black as the tv one looks .

It would look less of a" Window Licker " than the Berlingo thats for sure .!!!!!
There is nothing wrong with the Berlingo and has not let us down over the 6yrs ,so I dont need to change it but ,Im liking the C3 .

Anybody got one or got any opinions of it .?????

To be honest I cant fault the Berlingo ,except for the gear change which is like moving a stick in a bucket .!!!!!!

It has saved me thousands in skip charges ,taking shoit to the tip etc.
Has plenty of room , ,and every year gets rid of 40 plus bags of leaves garden waste to the tip in the autumn .

It serves its purpose and is economical ,so the C3 seems to be a good follow on .

Trouble is its about 15.5 K when priced to the spec I would get ,eg aircon ,cruise ,alloys ,etc etc .Its never the start price is it .??

Well ,went for a test drive today and was left a little underwhelmed to be honest .

They only had the 1.4 l petrol in as a demo so went out in that .
Gear change was the same D1ck in a bucket !!
Engine Would not pull your F0reskin back to be honest .!!!!!.
Did not look half as good in standard mode without all the trimmings .

But hell, the bird who went out with me for the test drive was a corker !!!
Young Blonde ,body to die for and Tits like you would not believe !!!!
She did not know much about the car to be honest but who cares .

Anyway Im going back tomorrow as she is getting the diesel for me to try .!!
No honestly ,I need to see how the diesel performs !!!!
I will let you know .

Which dealership?? I'm sure that if local, I could fake interest in a french car if she's really worth a look...

Cheers,

Its Rochdale ,Lancs and she phoned today at 5 mins after I was supposed to be there .
I have had second thoughts on the car and it has not moved on enough from our 6 year old Berlingo .
She was definately worth a second Blimp but sadly the car wasnt .

What changed it for me was an early morning look on Autotrader this morning .From previous posts you can see ive been intersted in merc Cl 500 ,s and I saw a CL 600 on the web today which was local to me .54 plate 58 k miles
I went and had a look and its pretty tasty to be honest .Had a test drive this morning abd the money is now in place .

Keeping the wifes current Beringo (for load shifting capabilitys ) and going to treat myself I think to the Merc .

Your only here once and I have noy had a decent car since my WR1 3 yrs ago .Been spending on the house and now its pretty comfortable so ,ready to get back into a decent ,albeit more mature motor that currently fits the bill .
twin turbo ,500 bhp ,luxury car with all the toys .
Yes its slightly veered of my original plan but whoo hoo .!!
Wifes not to upset ,because she agrees the C3 Picasso was not worth 16k at the end of the day .
Shes a good un and she may drive it now and again .!!!!
