Was there last year and was a cracking day out and recommend it to anyone. Really shows the true straightline performance of a car.
Although last year was horrendously windy (48mph headwind), it was still a quality day.
As you say, would be very interesting to see what the modded RS' would do..

Just 3 of us by the looks of it:

30-130 day at marham

Not sure what power mine is running as not been on a RR although should be 400+ I'd guess

Spec can be seen on the left, click the link - big changes though include forged engine, 740 injectors, MD321t turbo, aftermarket ECU, prodrive suspension, 8 pot brakes, PPG straight cut gearbox, B Rawle remap etc

I'll get my excuses in early though as only running her in still with 1.5bar of boost ... should eventually be capable of 1.8bar

TX.

If you can run 1.5 bar you can run 1.8 bar, don't be soft.

Cool mate sounds good, myself, well was running roughly 300bhp last year and didn't do very well, top end is where it all seemed to go wrong, took me as long to get from 120-140 as it did from 30-120!!!!!! 27secs all in but I've got the hybrid on now running 1.5bar, may even turn it up a bit to 1.65 so should see about 350+bhp and pulling stronger top end!

I'll make sure I come over and say Hi!

Has a 335d ever had a go? Might do okay with it's hefty top end shove, especially mapped. Or maybe not!

Only 12% higher absolute pressure though, and the peak cylinder pressure during combustion will hardly move. If it is built to do 1.8 bar, running in further at 1.5 bar sounds like the equivalent to limiting yourself to 3250 RPM rather than 3500 RPM.

There are plenty of Big power scoobs going. I know of a few that will have well over 500bhp, some 600 and atleast one with 700+

Was going of last year and the fact non of the scoobie sites even reply to any of the threads, they must be all closet 30-130mpher's!

Compared to the Evo lot who fill there's every year, 40-50+!

I would like to see some different cars than all the 500-600bhp+ evos, scoobs etc.....maybe a highly tuned CTR (TDI's red one) in the fwd class, some highly tuned S4/RS4 bi turbos that have great top end, or even a Ultima GTR720.

Anyway, that Noble sounds interesting.
