Photo Competition- It now Offically Dead?

There's been loads of what if we and should we and do this and that but no action

My dad used to say 'you can only please some people some of the time but you'll never please all of the people all of the time'.

We, as a 5 member family used to set your competition as our own 'task or theme' as our goal to get our best shot

Get it together peoples this is meant to be FUN

or how we used to understand it

If you want tech count us out

We've all got the bestest shot ever! So admit it

(ref time restraints)

My 14 year old is watching me post this and I'm less than comfortable

Oh well WTF it seems dead n gone anyways

I hear you, I think we wait for an established member of "Photography" to start these things off.

I think it's the forum as a whole that's suffering, posting in Photography, Computer Related, Sport and most of the other parts of the forum are well down, people being banned and battles raging, add to that it's the Summer hols I guess a lot of people are away or have been driven away.

Nice concept though, that you use the theme for your family compos

But I take pride knowing that I won the last ever competition

And it's gone really quiet of late. Come on people, it's pretty much the only reason I come on here now to look in this section

Does someopne want to suggest a theme then as we never got to a conclusive answer on how we should go forward ??

Just asked the Kids for a few ideas and what about 'HOT' as a theme as we all seem to be suffering in this heat wave

and could maybe interest those off on their holidays to

Just an idea but don't know how to set it up but maybe just follow the old rules as before

Just our 2p.......anyone else have thoughts on this

Same ere, I've little reason to use the rest of the site now I'm Scoobyless
